It has been empty since being used by Combe Down Primary School when the School's old 'temporary' classrooms were replaced by the new building. Weight Limit Removed

The 3 tonne weight limit imposed just 2 weeks ago at the top of Stonehouse Lane will be removed today. The stabilisation of an area near the junction with North Road has been completed two weeks ahead of the initial estimate.

The suspect area, with a thin roof, was identified under the pavement and a garden in Stonehouse Lane. Traffic should be able to get back to normal later today.
